Despite whether or not you think the game mechanics or any good, I can't understand why anyone could give it such high marks considering the huge amount of blatant bugs and general lack of polish.
It's sad how much CoD has made this kind of announcement, since the recent CoD games are literally the ONLY PC first-person shooters without proper dedicated server support (black ops is no exception as gameservers.com has complete control of all the servers and must be rented instead of just letting users use their own networks for servers). One goddamn PC game ditches dedicated server support and suddenly they're a bullet-point feature for all the competitors instead of an industry ...
I'm as excited as I am skeptical. That is, I'm very excited for this game.
I hate when games have zombie levels, they're always annoying and exhausting compared to the rest of it. But a game designed AROUND zombies is fun. Just my two cents.
"...just because you might not use OtherOS or Backwards Compability lots of other gamers might."
Emphasis on "might." I'll stop assuming anonymous is responsible for this kind of shit as soon as anonymous isn't responsible for this kind of shit based on assumptions. Any sort of organized anonymous movement involves the popular opinion of vocal minorities.
That's bloody awesome. Now people can stop getting their first impression of Minecraft from the free alpha version which is really lacking in most of the draw the Beta has.
Hehe, wow. Are there really this many attention-starved anally distressed individuals out there that are mad at Valve for nothing?
Well, this proves it:
Fortress Craft is a textbook sociopathic attention whore.
It's actually just random art not necessarily related to any game projects.
Well either way I approved your submission in the spirit of good sportsmanship.
I never called it a review. At least it's not false advertising. Though honestly I'm incredibly surprised my submission is getting more approvals than yours. :/
No video should have a 20 second intro. :|
Uh, this is just the E3 Walkthrough.
Dave Johnson of Aparature Science here to tell you about our latest prudoct: Boost!
Well, I'm saying it has more space on the disk because my Reach preview disk had all the map packs on it, even though I never bought or downloaded the map packs.
Nobody said (as far as I know) that the actual disk space will be larger, just that it will be able to hold more data than before because various security/verification software on the "old" disks was taking up a lot of its space. So yeah, a gig or two of extra space, but that's from ~6 gigs to ~8 gigs, not ~8 gigs to ~10 gigs.
I could be mistaken though.
Good thing I don't care about achievements nowadays. I kinda feel sorry for the ones that do.
It'd be awesome of the Halo disc on the new format included some DLC maps what with all that extra space.
The first Arkham's PC version was fantastic all around; controls, optimization and all. Here's hoping they keep on that track. :D
What an incredibly misleading title.
